A great sounding speaker at a very good price!

This speaker packs a punch. I need to say that right from the start. Normally “portable” speakers lack that “OOMPH” because they put small magnets in them. The first thing you feel when you pick up the #zenbre D4 waterproof speaker is that it feels solid. Not like you’re carrying around a big piece of lead or anything. But it feels solid in your hand. That means they put quality magnets in them. Big, strong magnets are the key to having a good, rich sound.

Pairing was easy, simple, and straightforward. At first I didn’t see where the charge light was and unplugged and plug the cord a couple times just to make sure it was working. The LED is soft and subtle so you might miss it like I did. But once I knew what to look for, I spot it right away now.

The volume is plenty loud. I used this outside while having a little fire in my backyard and everyone heard it just fine. In fact, I turned it down because it was so clear. I would expect to pay a lot more than the $37 they’re asking for this. Is it a $200+ bose or harmon kardon or klipsch or … No. But be realistic, it’s inexpensive and sounds great. What more do you want?!?!? I would hate to spend that much on a travel speaker anyhow! I was able to receive mine at a discount in exchange for my unbiased honest opinion. Trust me, I have no affiliation with the company and stand nothing to gain or lose by speaking my mind. My opinions are my own and I am an audiophile – just so you know. My standards for audio are pretty high. I liked the sound so much that I bought a second one — one for each shower. In the picture, you’ll see it hanging from a former “AM/FM/CD Shower Radio” just for effect. I ditched it and now am using these D4 Zenbre’s exclusively. I also take it with me when I’m going to the park (great to clip on your belt loop and go for a walk), in the back yard, next to the hottub (i wouldn’t submerse it!!!! but it’s probably just fine if water splashes on it)…. the uses are endless.

Bottom line: this is a great sounding waterproof speaker at a very good price!
