Scissors Skills Madymax Teaching Workbook!!!

We have been talking about how to teach Mason “how to use scissors” as up until now we’ve pretty much been hiding them from him… Literally, no sooner did we start discussing it and I had an opportunity to connect with a fantastic author who wrote a scissors skills book!!!  After talking over our needs, she agreed to send an e-book to us free of charge in exchange for an honest review.  We told her we would be happy to!

The ordering process was easy, e-book was delivered immediately.  I ordered kid’s scissors on amazon so we will review those in the coming days… but this e-book is awesome!  This review will be just a “first glance” review with a more in-depth one to follow…

The book is jam packed with activities – I thought it would be “here, cut this” but the book has ACTIVITIES!  Projects that you can work on with your child.  Building crowns to wear.  Decorative candy bag.  Lots and lots of ways to engage with your son or daughter.  It has plenty of tips and is extremely thorough…. much more than I could have ever imagined!

We have to really dig in and go into more detail with this, but this book we both feel is going to be a game changer for Mason.  He’s excited about trying it and completing the projects – you can see it in his eyes!  It’s so cute how focused he is on doing it good and proud when he does!!!
