NP-BN1 SONY Rechargeable Replacement Battery

I have an older SONY underwater camera that I absolutely love. It’s small and compact. HOWEVER, being so small means that it doesn’t have a big battery and i’m CONSTANTLY running out of “juice”. I took the camera on a snorkeling trip once and I was out of battery 1/2 way through the day! That was awful. So before I go on that trip again, I decided to buy another one of these NP-BN1 SONY Replacement Batteries.  It’s 3.7V 650mAh 2.41Wh which I believe are the specs of my others, if I’m not mistaken.  Basically I searched amazon for a BN1 battery and this is one of the ones I found.

The battery itself is exactly the same as the OEM version. I don’t have a brand new one to compare it to, but this one charges the same and outperforms my old one so for the money, it’s great. No issues at all. I received this at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation with the company that made this – I can just tell you I didn’t want to spend a lot for a replacement battery for my old SONY point and shoot camera. Nothing else takes this battery so I wasn’t spending $50 on a good battery. Luckily, this battery performs well – better than what I have and I’ll probably end up buying another one of these when my OEM one stops working.  Comes with a small case too!
