Magic Wonder Hangers – As Seen On TV
I think a lot of people have seen the ads for the “Wonder Hanger” on TV… Supposedly makes your closet so much neater and tons of extra room now that clothes are all on top of one another, right? I was able to receive a set of these free of charge in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation with the company whatsoever and my words are all my own.
Do they work? Yeah, they actually do. They’re not the best constructed thing ever, but they do work. They work best with wire hangers not plastic — at least I think so. The plastic ones I had I tried to put them in and they just didn’t work so well. I’ll have to keep testing these but I’d say the metal ones worked for me pretty well. Pick a side – now here’s the tricky part. If you’re lowering the left side, make sure the hangers are to the left so they all come down on the appropriate side. If you don’t, you’ll be using some choice words when all your clothes end up on the floor. The only real issue with the design is when you go to raise it up to pick out the garment you want. It actually takes up MORE room than if the hangers were up to begin with — but if you have multiple magic hangers in your closet, the overall space it takes up is less so you can accommodate this design flaw. Yes, I gave this quite a bit of thought!
To recap: they work. They’re made okay and will probably never really break. I don’t see putting anything super heavy on this and wouldn’t expect the hooks to give out. Yes, sometimes the garments come out of the middle hole and it’s frustrating, but overall the space it saves – it’s worth it. It does what it’s supposed to do. Minor complaints at best but it’s a good value – especially if you need more closet space! And they’re quite a bit less expensive than the ones I saw on TV!
