Jecobi Set of 2 Double Walled Coffee Mugs

These are my new favorite glasses… I will say that up front.  I had been asking my girlfriend for a set of handle-less coffee mugs for Christmas and she talked me out of it… (it’s called COMPROMISE!) and I ended up with a set of white, modern, “handled” mugs.  Do I love them?  Kinda… but I’ve always wanted a set of handle-less ones!!!!

I received a set of two of these at a substantial discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.  So here we are!  I wanted to love them!! My dreams come true!  And I do……… however, the major drawback is that they are not 8.5Oz.  I assure you of that.  My Keurig Coffee Maker brews 6oz, 8oz and 10oz portions.  When I dispense the 8oz, it overflows the cup.  If I dispense the 6oz, it leaves “just enough room” for creamer…. but in theory, the 8.5 should leave enough room when I brew an 8oz cup!  To make sure I wasn’t crazy I took out my handy dandy Pyrex and filled it to the 8oz line.  Sure enough, it overflowed the cup – not by much, but by enough to make these glasses less than 8.5 for sure!

If they weren’t amazing glasses, I would deduct more stars than that just for being completely inaccurate with the sizing, but they are beautiful.  They are amazing.  I just wish they were larger… or even true to size!

Enough of the negative, let’s talk about the positive.  They’re modern, trendy, stylish double-walled glasses that you can put hot or cold beverages in.  Cold beverages like whiskey on the rocks, for example.  Double wall glasses insulate your hand from the beverage and thus not melting the ice so quick.  Pretty neat, huh?

The hot beverages are self explanatory… coffee, tea, hot chocolate.  You can even put the glass in your microwave and it doesn’t heat up.  Cool (or warm at most!) to the touch.  They’re elegant and beautiful!  I absolutely LOVE drinking my morning coffee out of them…. I just wish they were bigger! That’s my only complaint… I wish I didn’t have to give them 4 STARS but I think people out there will be disappointed when they get them and say “hey, where’s the rest of my glass??????”.
