Nortwill Portable Tree (or stand) Hammock – Great Backyard Fun!
Who doesn’t enjoy swinging in a hammock on a nice warm summer day?!?!? You’re crazy if you don’t. If you’re like me though, you put off buying one because it’s just not a priority. I’ll admit it. I’ve thought about a hammock for years… even talked about it with my friends to a point where it’s a joke when I say “ahhhh, i wish i had a hammock”. They mock and tease me and say “GO GET A HAMMOCK THEN!!!” I had an opportunity to get one of these heavily discounted in exchange for an honest and unbiased review — so that was the motivation I needed to get this Nortwill Portable Tree Hammock. Although, since I don’t have trees really in my backyard, I ended up buying a stand to go with it. And I’m VERY GLAD I did.
The hammock is very sturdy, very stable, and seems like it will be long lasting.. I’ve had it for about a week and a half now and it’s really nice. Looks sharp and even has a little pouch to put your phone in it!! (or camera, or whatever…) One of my friends who was at the pool party we had yesterday gave it a test and her complaint was that it didn’t have a cup holder! HAHA! What hammock has a cup holder??? TELL ME THAT!!! My solution was that I’ll go to the hardware store and get one of those stake in the ground spiral drink holders and … problem solved!
The only kind of thing I’d change about the hammock is that it doesn’t have a pillow or spreader so when you’re in the hammock alone, it kind of closes you in a little bit — it’s the same with most hammocks but I think getting a pillow will help that. I mean it does fold up nicely into the aforementioned “phone holder pocket” — which was a feat in and of itself… couldn’t believe I actually got it back in there. Usually you can never get it back to the way it was — but this one did and it’s a great small size too making it extremely portable. And it comes with tree straps making it easy to retrofit to the stand or use with your tree when camping.

I give this hammock 5 STARS for being great, small, easy to setup, sturdy, and sharp looking! You’ll love it!!! No question about it. For the money, you can’t get a better hammock in my opinion!
