100% Pure Tea Tree Oil 45% Terpinen Brooklyn Botany
Tea tree has a tremendous amount of health benefits. You can google it so I won’t get into it – but it promotes circulation, is a natural anti-fungal, etc. etc. etc. I had an opportunity to receive one portion of this Tea Tree Oil for free or heavily discounted in exchange for an unbiased honest review.
Tea Tree is a very strong fragrance. If you don’t like the smell of peppermint, you won’t like this. It’s very strong in this oil so I have to say it’s very pure. I have used this to make bath salt soaks and combining this with epsom salts, citric acid, and baking soda makes a WONDERFUL foot salt soak. Let me tell you – I love the way it makes my feel. Plus the increased circulation – I love it.
I can’t vouch for the medical uses of this — but it definitely helps out my skin – so I highly recommend it! I read that you can test the effectiveness of Tea Tree Oil by putting a single drop on a piece of paper and see how long it takes to evaporate. This took about 20-25 minutes to fully evaporate and left no trace. That means it’s pure or so the test suggests! It also lists the 45% terpinen amount — which a lot of tea tree oils do not even list. It comes from Australia (where Tea Tree comes from!) so all signs point to this being a tremendous oil for the money. It says Ultra Pure – and I believe it!!! Therapeutic Grade for sure. It also has a little “stronger” smell than some other ones I’ve tried — so this all leads me to believe this one is higher quality…. more pure active ingredients. So I definitely recommend this one from Brooklyn Botany!
