Read MoreRuth’s Chris Steak House Copycat Blue Cheese Dressing Recipe for Lettuce Wedge Salad (Bleu Cheese)
For those of you who have had the pleasure to go to a Ruth’s Chris Steak House — then you’ll know how good their Iceberg Lettuce Wedge Salad is! For those of you who haven’t had the experience – the next time you want to splurge — go treat yourself. The concept is simple: Iceberg Lettuce cut into a wedge with Blue Cheese (Bleu Cheese, or however you decide to spell it – although there is a difference), bacon and blue cheese – although you could (i suppose) get a different dressing. Why would you want to? I haven’t a clue. Ruth’s Chris Steak House Menu describes it as: A crisp wedge of iceberg lettuce on field greens, topped with bacon, bleu cheese and your choice of dressing. I , however, would...
Read Morehappy valentines day (a love letter)
My dearest Peanut… Life isn’t easy. We never signed up for an “easy life”. In fact some say the best things in life are those things that you work for… We both have struggled and have fought very hard in our lives to get here. But here we are. We have each other. Today, and every day from now until eternity. I cannot imagine my life without you. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about how unhappy my life could have been without you in it. I pray for those who haven’t found the love we have because I know that true love does exist. It’s with me every morning when I wake up, and every night when I go to sleep. I do my best each day to show you how much I care and love you — sometimes it’s...
Read MoreProtected: Benjamin’s on Franklin – Syracuse NY Downtown’s Worst
Last night we ended up going out for my friends birthdays in downtown Syracuse, NY. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the area there are many eating and drinking establishments — thus, options are plenty. One such establishment bills itself as offering “… a multifaceted entertainment experience in the heart of Armory Square.” What they don’t tell you is the story I’m about to share with you. Benjamin’s on Franklin located at 314 South Franklin Street in Armory Square in the heart of Syracuse, New York, will no longer have my business. “Why?” you may ask . . . let me take you through the events of last evening if I may . . . Benjamin’s on Franklin used to be the “IT” place....
Read Morea nice day for a topless wedding
This is just common sense, but I — unfortunate as this may be — have to spell this out. If you are topless on a beach — which mind you is perfectly okay to be — and you happen to notice a beach destination wedding ceremony starting around you … … you may want to put on a bikini top. Just saying you might want to. I’m sure you’ll be okay with being forever remembered affectionately (and possibly laughed at) as “the very very large topless woman in all the wedding pictures”. But standing up and gawking at the bride and groom isn’t really making yourself less noticeable. We all have a right to be naked, no question there. I just question where it goes from appropriate to downright selfish. Does...

You’re on vacation. You get a massage. Ok, so I’m going to address the giant elephant in the room … What do you do when you have to fart RIGHT in the middle of a massage? The massage therapists want you relaxed, right?!? …but now what?!? I say they’d want you to “let ‘er rip!” It would be rude to do anything less. Bottle it up and you’re only wasting your money. Read MoreWait to get off the elevator until people exit?
Is it really that difficult of a concept? Let’s play this thing out for the short bus kids…. Step 1: Press Elevator Button Step 2: Wait Step 3: <DING> Step 4: WAIT YOUR EFFING TURN AND LET PEOPLE EXIT Let me break it down for you more simply: NOBODY IS GOING UP UNTIL PEOPLE GET OFF. Ok, That sounds dirty. But it’s a fact. Let people exit before getting on an elevator. It’s common sense. It’s polite. It’s simply the right thing to do. Share this:FacebookEmailDiggPrint
