Santamedical Adult Deluxe Aneroid Sphygmomanometer

My girlfriend is a Nurse Practitioner and knows all about Sphygmomanometers.   I can’t even SPELL Sphygmomanometer!!!  I call it the “blood pressure thingy”.  She wanted one for home use as her good medical one is usually left at her office.  I had an opportunity to receive one of these for free or highly discounted from Santamedical in exchange for an unbiased and honest review.  Thankfully, she can provide this!

First of all, she said that it’s definitely not as high quality as the one she uses for work.  But it’s also a fraction of the price!!  It works well, just the stethoscope is not as loud as the one she’s used to.  But it did work and she could hear the heartbeat loud and clear.  The blood pressure cuff (I won’t say the sphygo word again!) worked as well and it was very accurate.  She used her office one as a comparison benchmark.  For the price, it is a very good unit.  Especially for home use!!  And of course the case keeps it all together VERY well.  Very nice unit.  She would definitely recommend it just know that it is not quite as good as the real expensive units… but this one certainly does the job.
