Soothing Calendula Aloe Vera Foot Butter Cream

Calendula, Schmandula.  What the heck is this stuff anyhow?  I received this foot butter cream for free or heavily discounted in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.  How can you review something if you don’t know what it’s supposed to do?  Off to google I went…

Calendula has a great many properties – or so they say.  I’ll put it to the test.

Google tells me that Calendula has Antiviral, Antigenotoxic, and Anti-inflammatory properties.  Ok, read on.  It has healing properties (scrapes, bruises, cuts, etc.) etc. and improves the appearance of skin.  It helps blood flow, provides antioxidant protection, and may make your skin softer, more toned, with more glow.

My feet are sometimes “tired” feeling so i figured I’d give it a try.  It also has tea tree (which you can smell when you take a whiff of it as it has a little menthol to it) so antifungal is never a bad thing.

So the foot “butter” cream is really like butter.  It spreads on thick.  It has beeswax so it’s slippery (watch out, don’t walk around without socks or flip-flops or anything) – and may stain if you have rugs or something.  BEE careful.  (get it, BEE careful. )

Anyhow, feet feel refreshed and it really does feel pretty luxurious.  I didn’t have that much pain to begin with, so I cannot comment on how it reduces it, but it certainly feels wonderful after soaking in the soothing nutrients in this foot cream.  Of course if you want to put socks on to “seal in” the moisture, you can – and the tea tree probably helps as fungus LOVES moisture and heat.  So if you combine the tea tree with the socks, it’s the perfect combination to remedy dry scaly feet that also have toenail or foot fungus.  I’m just guessing as I’m no doctor but i do know a thing or two about tea tree!  (See my last review of Tea Tree Scrub if you’re interested!)

Overall, Just A Guy Who Reviews Stuff gives this 5 STARS for a being a thick, rich, moisturizing cream that’s good for your feet, has some tea tree to help heal/prevent fungus and smells good – not to mention has great other healing properties too!
