Great rubber dog chew toy!!

In a house of 4 dogs, toys are plenty around here. It’s a never-ending game of daddy picking up the toys and putting them in their beds, and the dogs pulling out every single one of them in a 24 hour period. A couple of my dogs are fairly aggressive chewers, so I got this toy in the hopes that it wouldn’t be completely destroyed in a day. Only the tough survive in this house!!!

So I ended up giving it to the Bernese who was happy to be the recipient… she trotted off and into her bed. About a minute later, the shepherd mix strolled by as if to say “hey, what do you have here?!?” The Bernese being completely happy at all times, willingly gave up the Mavel Skipped Ball Dog Toy. The shepherd then took the toy right through the “lions den” where the other two dogs were eyeing her and then jumped on the couch and started to go to town on the toy.

The toy is tough. Very tough. Definitely the hardness of a Kong. Problem with Kongs (at least with mine) is that they don’t really play with them unless they have a tasty treat in them. Score one big one for this toy – no peanut butter = no mess to clean up!!

The “nubbies” on this intrigued the dog. Sure she put the whole thing in her mouth but also decided to try her luck at actually getting at the nubs. She’s a very paw oriented dog, so she put this ball between her paws and sat there for at least an hour trying to pull at it. Different spots on the ball. Just kept at it. Kept her busy for a very long time — which is good because she needs it!!!

Overall, this is a durable dog toy that will also help their gums because of the spikes on the ball – and most importantly – they’re happy. And when they’re happy – I’m happy! Highly recommend!!!
