Cool Indoor / Outdoor Backyard Patio Lights

These are pretty decent indoor / outdoor patio lights for your backyard.  They’re very vintage / retro looking and the glass is crystal clear.  They give off a nice glow, warm, and nicer than their LED counterparts which give off a very stark light.  I’ve been unimpressed with LED lights of this nature.  This is a nice long strand of lights that looks very elegant.  When they say warm and inviting, they’re not kidding!  Now…… the reason why i can’t give it 5 stars…

If one light breaks or goes out, the strand does not go out.  That’s good, right?  Yes.  But how do I know that?  Well within 30 seconds of putting them up I broke 2 lights.  They’re VERY fragile.  So anyone who’s reading this, PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!  You need a second person to actively help you, go slow, and you’ll be fine.  Just don’t drop them,  bang them, or otherwise.  That’s probably how they get the nice warm glow is from the thin glass. Great for the lighting effect.  Bad for klutzs!

The only other thing is that the first light is so darn close to the plug… sometimes I like to plug something in and have a few feet of extra cord before the light starts so I can get the first light exactly where I want it — so you see the light strand without the cord.  Not so with this.  Again, not a deal breaker, but it’s still a little annoying.

I still have to say, it’s a great light strand for mood lighting your backyard or even indoors.  I did receive this for free or highly discounted in exchange for my unbiased and honest opinion.  However, that has no effect whatsoever on my review.
