Decent inexpensive Qi charging pad – not without it’s flaws…

First of all, this is not a “fast charger”. This is a 1A output charger. It says it right in the photo and description.

Second, I found this to be a little sensitive to how the phone is positioned on it with one of my two iphone cases… but not the other. Which leads me to believe the second case may not have had the same amount of coils in it than the first one. The one that worked was a good quality $50 Qi charging case for iphone 6/6S and I’ve tried multiple times, multiple ways to get it to not work. It works just fine. It’s the cheaper case that I had to put it perpendicular.

You know the old story… you get what you pay for? 🙂

So with that in mind…… this is a $10.99 product. Not a $30, $40 charging pad. Does it work? Yes. Is it a good value? Yes. I found that it didn’t work as well with my inferior case, but I don’t think that’s necessarily the product’s fault… i think it’s a combination of cheap case and cheap pad.

But overall, for a spare Qi Charging Pad, it does the job.

Who doesn’t need one in every room? 🙂
